Job summary

Cianbro is seeking a qualified Construction Manager to lead daily planning and supervision of electrical and mechanical work on a substation project in Kokomo, Indiana. You will coordinate multiple crews to meet safety, quality and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities include developing work packages, forecasting resources, tracking hours and costs, and driving productivity through proactive planning and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Leads by example in safety, quality and productivity.
• Combination of technical training and related experience in substation work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write and communicate daily activity plans, including hazard identification and safe work practices.
• Communicate production goals and quality specifications with project supervision; discuss issues affecting people, means and methods, materials or equipment.
• Participate in planning means and methods.
• Accurately record and report crew work hours and quantities installed; monitor and improve productivity.
• Hold Crew TM's accountable as needed.
• Help forecast equipment, materials or workforce needs; document costs for rework and learn from mistakes.
• Understand project cost code structure for time card purposes.
• Develop Work Packages.
