Qualifications

  • Must be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years in community support services, especially with mental illness/substance use.
  • Valid driver's license with minimum auto coverage.

Responsibilities

Job description

Compensation: $36.52/hourly

Directly supervises assigned staff including Therapists and Integrated Health Specialists and the delivery of addiction services, outpatient and community-based.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. Candidate will travel between Nevada and Butler locations and must have some flexibility to support the needs of the program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

  • Provides supervision, guidance and monitoring to Outpatient Therapists and Community Support Specialists in designated offices regarding Substance Use Recovery programming, policies and procedures
  • Ensures appropriate documentation and recording occurs within individual case records according to policy
  • Participates in meetings and supervision as required
  • Assures Community Support Specialists provide direct assistance to the client in order to access, locate and arrange culturally competent services and resources needed to address the desired outcomes and the unique cultural needs of the client
  • Assures collaboration with Community Support Specialists and other agencies involved with the client to provide best outcomes
  • Monitor service plan delivery to consistently reassess the client’s status, service choices available, overall community functions, strengths, preference, needs and progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with Substance Use Recovery Director to maintain quality and continuity of services as well as manage staff operations to ensure safety of consumers and provide clinical guidance on all consumer treatment issues
  • Driving is an essential function of the position
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High School/Ged Required
  • Associate's/Bachelor’s /Master's degree in a human service related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (RR)

Or

  • If not a QAP, individual must meet the qualifications of a Community Support Specialist with at least three years of experience providing community support services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders in accordance with the community support key service functions specified in 9 CSR 30-3.157 Community Support in CSTAR and 9 CSR 10-4.047 Community Support in CPR. Experience is specific to the adult or child/youth/adolescent population the individual will supervise.
  • A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Required:

  • QAP (Qualified Addiction Professional) CADC, CRAADC, or RACD MCB credential.

Preferred

  • PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW or LMFT, licensed in Missouri.
