Charleston County Government is seeking motivated counselors to provide individualized and group counseling, plus case management, to residents pursuing recovery from substance use disorders. Temporary positions cover outpatient and residential treatment settings, with shifts that may include weekends and evenings.

Starting pay ranges from $21.66 to $27.17 per hour, depending on education, credentialing, and licensure. This is a temporary role with no benefits; review begins immediately.

Qualifikationen

• Temp counselors may work a maximum of 28 hours weekly.
• Experience in addiction counseling preferred.
• Licensure and current Alcohol and other Drug Counselor certification considered for increases.
