Job summary

Chimes in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an experienced Outpatient Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments and individual and group psychotherapy for clients in a substance use treatment program.

You will develop treatment plans, deliver crisis services as needed, and maintain documentation while collaborating with internal teams. A Master’s in a clinical field and licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) are required, with PA clearances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a clinical discipline (e.g., Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychology).
• LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure (preferred).
• Clearances: Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34, FBI Fingerprinting, Medicaid/Medicare exclusions verification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for newly admitted clients.
• Provide outpatient therapy for individuals with substance use disorders.
• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans and recovery goals.
• Provide individual and group therapy based on clinical needs.
• Deliver crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services as necessary.
• Apply evidence-based practices to support clients with mental health conditions and related challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries).
• Collaborate with internal teams, external providers, and client support systems.
• Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and ongoing training standards.
