Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Whiteville, NC is seeking a Full-Time Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Facilitator (CADC/LCAS) to provide psychoeducation and psychotherapy groups. The role requires CADC and 2 years of substance use experience, with on-site work at our Whiteville location.

You will coordinate aftercare, engage families, and maintain referrals while contributing to a collaborative treatment plan with the team.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: CADC required or Provisional Licensure preferred; LCAS-A accepted.
• 2 years of experience in Substance Use services.

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitating/facilitating psychoeducation groups and psychotherapy groups.
• Establishing client aftercare plans and maintaining contact with family.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral sources.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and promote healthy interpersonal behavior.

What You’ll Do

• IOP Facilitator functions primarily to provide services to clients, which include but are not limited to co-facilitating/facilitating psycho education groups and f acilitate psychotherapy groups
• Establishing client aftercare plans, and initiating and maintaining contact with family members
• Maintain accurate and up to date referral sources
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and promote appropriate and healthy interpersonal behavior.
• Collaborate with the team to develop treatment goal plans in collaboration with consumers and monitor progress towards goal completion

What You’ll Bring

• Skills: Knowledge of therapeutic practices, group facilitation techniques, as well as problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis.
• Licensure/Certification: CADC required or Provisional Licensure preferred: LCAS-A accepted as well.
• 2 years of experience in Substance Use services
