Job summary

BayMark Health Services offers a compassionate outpatient counseling role focused on opioid use treatment. You will conduct individual and group sessions, perform initial assessments, and collaborate with a treatment team to support patients’ recovery goals.

The position emphasizes crisis management, aftercare planning, and family involvement when appropriate within a supportive clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of counseling experience.
• Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science with 1 year counseling experience.
• Certifications CAC/CADC/LADC II with related supervision experience.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and eligibility interviews.
• Develop and review initial treatment plans with each patient.
• Complete bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual and group counseling; coordinate services.
• Involve families in the recovery process when possible.
• Address patient grievances and develop aftercare/discharge plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
