Job summary

Northern Tier Counseling in Towanda, PA, seeks a Drug & Alcohol Counselor/Case Manager to provide integrated counseling and support services to individuals with substance use disorders. You will assess, plan, counsel, and coordinate care across providers to support recovery and community reintegration.

Requirements include an advanced degree in a related field or equivalent clinical experience, strong ethics, excellent communication, and robust documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling with practicum.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 1,820 hours of clinical experience in health/human services.
• Associate degree with at least 3,640 hours of clinical experience in health/human services.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments to determine client needs and level of care.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as appropriate.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and modify plans as needed.
• Coordinate referrals to detox, residential, outpatient, housing, and employment services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EHR compliance.
