A community mental health organization in California is seeking a Substance Use Clinician to provide counseling services for individuals with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and CCAPP registration, with strong communication skills. Classification: Regular Full-Time Exempt
Salary Range: $66,412 DOEE + Full Benefits Package

Position Summary: This position must be available to respond to Substance Use Disorders treatment including client intakes, individual and group counseling, treatment assessment and planning, and case management as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
Must be registered with CCAPP as CADC or LAADC.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
Associate degree or equivalent amount of related experience.
Excellent oral & written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software and overall excellent computer skills are required.
Knowledge of group development/dynamics is required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative, using good judgment, and available resources.
Demonstrated ability to organize workload, maintain multiple priorities, and sustain productivity and accuracy.
Reliable and consistent attendance, punctuality and coverage of responsibility and commitments when absent is required.
Bilingual in Santa Clara County Threshold Language strongly preferred.
Knowledge of and relationships with the South Bay youth services community is preferred

Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance, as required by Title XXII, other licensing regulations, and Caminar practices.
This position requires frequent driving. A valid California driver license, reliable personal vehicle, current personal auto insurance as required by law, and an MVR sufficient to obtain and reasonably maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies are all essential job requirements.
Must be able to pass post offer, pre-employment medical and drug tests as required under State Community Care Licensing regulations and/or agency policies.
A personal cell phone with reliable service and, if applicable, a data plan to use for business purposes.
May be required to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
