La Frontera EMPACT - Suicide Prevention Center in Apache Junction is seeking a Substance Abuse Therapist. The successful candidate will provide psychotherapy and facilitate treatment groups, focusing on individualized care for adults and their families.

Applicants should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, experience in substance abuse, and strong communication skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits including generous PTO and medical plans.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, or social work required.
• AZBBHE Licensure is preferred.
• Experience working with substance abuse issues and facilitating groups is preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and families.
• Facilitate IOP, SOP, & Aftercare groups.
• Utilize community resources and referrals to enhance treatment.
