Job summary

Alachua Academy is seeking a Non-Licensed Therapist to deliver individual, family, and group counseling to youth aged 13-18 within a residential program in Alachua, Florida. You will follow the youth’s assessment and treatment plan under supervision, collaborating with families as needed.

The role requires experience in mental health counseling or clinical social work, a Masters in Social Work or related field, and the ability to pass background checks and screenings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Experience in mental health counseling desired.
• Criminal background, drug screen, and TB test clearance required.

Job description

Alachua Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for girls aged 13 to 18. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health & substance abuse services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program.

Compensation: $50K Annually

What you will do:

As a Non-Licensed Therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group counseling services to the youth and their families according to the needs documented in their assessment and treatment plan. This position reports to the Clinical Director or other designated supervisor within the clinic.

To be considered, you should:

• Have experience in Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Social Work.
• Have a Masters Degree or better in Social Work or related field of study.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and TB Test.

Schedule

5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
