Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Substance Abuse Clerk for a full-time position at the Correctional Industrial Facility in Pendleton, Indiana. The role handles scheduling and routine processing of documents for the substance abuse program within a state correctional facility.

The position offers a pay rate of $17.34–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, and requires a high school diploma or GED with preference for medical records experience and terminology knowledge. Days, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of medical records/medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and data entry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and routine processing of substance abuse program documents.
• Review documents/transactions for correctness and completeness.
• Maintain calendars and scheduling of appointments, meetings, and conferences.
• Create, organize, scan, fax, and file documents to facilitate retrieval.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, drug screen, and criminal background check.
