Base pay range

$33.00/hr - $36.00/hr

SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing, evaluating, and directing the delivery of quality client services within a defined substance abuse treatment program. Reviews clinical treatment services and results; and ensures compliance with the organization’s standards and objectives, applicable contracts, regulations, and accreditation standards. Recommends program budgets, goals, and policies, and provides for the effective implementation and administration of these.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Senior Management on all phases of program administration
  • Manages and directs program staff at assigned facilities and coordinates with senior management when needed.
  • Collaborates with the team to deliver a high-quality recovery program.
  • Responsible for managing the program's monthly budget.
  • Works with the community liaison person and advisory board to effectively present the program to the community.
  • Provides leadership to the team in areas of program operations.
  • Assists in maintaining appropriate licensure standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining a work schedule for staff at all locations.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing direct reports, including preparation and presentation of performance evaluations, objective setting, compensation recommendations, training and development, disciplinary actions, selection interviews, and monitoring adherence to company and department policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Provides objective feedback to employees.
  • Provides appropriate training.
  • Holds interviews for vacant positions and selects candidates to fill open positions.
  • Creates and supports a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment-free work environment by understanding and complying with the company’s policies
  • Check the EMR weekly to ensure that required documentation groups, notes, and discharges are inputted correctly and promptly.
  • Other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in drug and alcohol addiction programs and team management.
  • Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of all facets of a drug and alcohol treatment facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other similar platforms.
  • Familiar with ASAM level of care requirements, Joint Commission, and DHCS requirements.
  • Pass background, drug screening, and medical pre-employment.
