Job summary

BRC in New York City is seeking a qualified mental health counselor to manage a client caseload, conduct intake screenings and referrals, and provide individual and group counseling to help clients recover. DUTIES/RESPONSILITIES:

Manage client caseload. Intake screening and referral, individual and group counseling, assist with maintaining therapeutic milieu, maintenance of timely and accurate clinical documentation, case management and escorting clients for advocacy when needed. Some outreach work as needed and related duties as assigned.

HOURS:

Full time, 35 hours per week

• Monday - Friday; 9:00am-5:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

MSW or CASAC-T License required. LMHC or LMSW preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, knowledge of alcoholism treatment and familiarity with 12-step programs. Basic Computer Literacy required.

*Vaccination preferred but not required.
