Job summary

Health Care Center, Inc. seeks an experienced Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) at Dilkon Medical Center, Dilkon, AZ. Work with Native American beneficiaries providing counseling, prevention, and coordinated care across tribal, state, county, and private providers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral science required.
• Licensure as LISAC by AZ Board or equivalent licensure.
• Bilingual English and Navajo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to clients with alcohol or other substance use disorders.
• Coordinate services with Tribal, state, county and private providers.
• Liaise with courts on issues interfacing with law enforcement.
• Maintain confidential patient records per CMS standards.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call crisis coverage on a rotation.
• Engage in prevention and intervention services for Native American beneficiaries.
• Plan aftercare with client and family.
