Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Licensed Clinician to supervise and coach a team of Substance Abuse Counselors. You will work with a collaborative treatment team to identify and meet patients' clinical needs and support their well-being.

Responsibilities include completing intake paperwork, counseling patients, and developing individualized treatment plans while ensuring compliance and confidentiality within a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• LADC in Maine required.
• Experience in substance abuse field preferred but not required.
• State-specific licensure requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Develop an individualized treatment plan within required time frames.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Ensure at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly via counseling sessions.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and pathways to recovery.
• Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo ID.
• Protect proprietary data and company rights in all activities.

For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers has been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality, and best-in-class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD").

As a Licensed Clinician, you’ll supervise and coach a team of Substance Abuse Counselors who are eager to learn and grow professionally. You’ll work with a collaborative treatment team consisting of our medical director, program director, counselors, and nurses to identify and meet the patient's clinical needs and assist in their overall well-being.

Essential Functions:

• Work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
• Complete patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
• Identify any clinical/case management needs and work to address those needs.
• Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Perform at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week through individual and/or group counseling sessions.
• Educate patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
• Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
• Always act in the best interests of the program and company; honor, support, and protect the proprietary data and rights of the company.
