• Certification: Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor required for I/II; proof of certification as applicable.
• Must possess valid California driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family and group counseling to adults and adolescents with substance abuse problems.
• Determines causal relationship between substance addiction, socio-economic factors and personality traits.
• Coordinates with treatment team members when specialized services are required.
• Maintains HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and clients.
• Leads client group using accepted therapy modality and basic skills training.
