Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of rehab centers with a commitment to evidence-based care and individualized treatment. This clinician role focuses on creating tailored treatment plans and delivering individual, group, and family therapy to a diverse caseload.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Director and treatment team, manage crisis intervention, and ensure meticulous documentation and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field is required; master's preferred.
• Valid state licensure to practice: LPC, LAC or CIT.
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, dignified character modeling recovery principles.
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions.
• Responsible for all clinical needs, services, and aftercare for caseload.
• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in crisis situations.
• Maintain impeccable documentation of client challenges, progress and relapse risk.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director, treatment team and family for coordination of care.
• Model ethics and recovery principles in every professional interaction.
