A healthcare provider for the military in Portsmouth, VA, is seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to support military families through addiction treatment services. The ideal candidate will have an Associates of Arts degree in Behavioral Science, at least one year of counseling experience, and required certifications. Qualifications

• 1-year full-time experience as Substance Abuse Counselor required.
• National Certification is mandatory.
• Must have a current, unrestricted license as Certified Addictions Counselor.
• Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC).
• BLS certification
