Delta-T Group in Baltimore seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to join our clinical team. The role involves facilitating behavioral health groups, providing individual sessions, and completing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments with timely documentation.

Licensed Maryland CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or ADT is required. The incumbent will document progress, discharge planning, and coordinate with the Office Manager for referrals and reporting. Full-time or part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Maryland license as CAC-AD, or CSC-AD, or ADT.
• Previous experience in counseling, social work, or related field.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Facilitate behavioral health treatment groups. Email Office Manager attendance after each group.
• Provide individual sessions for clients on a case-by-case basis when clients need extra support.
• Complete Biopsychosocial assessments and all documentation pertaining to it.
• Document client attendance, group topic, and client participation in file after each group. Complete documentation within 24 hours of services provided.
• Document any other contact with client or case management done, such as individual sessions or outside referrals.
• Complete all discharge paperwork within seven days of the date of discharge.
• Address urinalysis or breathalyzer results with clients as needed and record results in Electronic Health Record (EHR) and on monthly reports.
• Review and update treatment plans in compliance with timeframes set by ADI policy.
• Provide person-centered treatment which tailors treatment to each client's individual needs.
• Provide culturally competent treatment and case management.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Maryland license as a CAC-AD; or CSC-AD; with the State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
• Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related field.
