Job summary

Solano Family & Children’s Services is seeking a Provider Services Specialist to process reimbursements for Subsidy services and educate participating child care providers on program policies and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong accounting skills and at least two years of office experience with computers.

This full-time role reports to the Subsidy Supervisor and requires travel throughout California to attend conferences, trainings, and community meetings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of using computers for client data, word processing and calendars.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and flexible with duties.
• Willingness to travel throughout California for conferences, trainings, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Process provider reimbursements up to 80% of a full caseload for all programs.
• Explain program policies and regulations to child care providers.
• Determine continuing eligibility for provider participation in the Subsidized Child Care Program.
• Generate required program documents.
• Maintain up to 50% of a full caseload of provider files.
• Set up and assist with provider orientations.
