Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Machinist/Fabricator to advance subsea robotics production. You will read drawings, program and operate CNC multi-axis milling, laser-cutting, and forming machines, and build fixtures to support the production floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a machine setup/operator.
• Experience with CAD software like Solidworks or Siemens NX (Unigraphics).
• Experience with 3 axis milling machines and lathes.
• Experience with Trak controls.
• Experience assembling electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Familiar with various alloys, metals, plastics, etc.
• Tooling and fixture experience.
• GD&T proficiency.
• Able to own a manufacturing project from start to finish.
• Flex between R&D fabrication and production tasks.
• Able to support production assembly integration.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models.
• Programming/set-up/operation of CNC multi-axis milling, laser-cutting, and forming machines.
• Design and implement workholding and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust during manufacturing.
• Perform quality control during and after production.
• Help lead organization, machine maintenance and clean work area.
