Job summary

Oceaneering seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Subsea Robotics and Offshore Projects Group in Morgan City, LA. The engineer will support subsea systems for offshore campaigns, performing design modifications, test equipment design, and development of procedures for qualification and offshore readiness testing.

Required is a BS in Electrical Engineering with strong communication skills and the ability to travel offshore, domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to obtain a valid US Passport, TWIC & BOSIET.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering duties to prepare subsea systems for offshore campaigns.
• Design modifications to existing equipment and design of test equipment.
• Develop testing procedures for qualification, factory acceptance, and offshore readiness testing.
• Create and revise equipment software, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Provide cost and labor estimates for proposals and develop project scopes.
• Interface with customers, project managers, and technicians to support offshore campaigns.
