Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Field Test Engineer intern to join our Quincy team, working hands-on with autonomous underwater and surface systems in a cutting-edge defense tech environment. You’ll plan, execute, and analyze at-sea test events for AUVs, ASV, and subsea platforms, bridging engineering design and real-world ocean performance.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in CS/CE/Math/Physics, returning to school after the internship, and eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development
• Proficiency with Linux and command line interfaces
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs
• Familiarity with test equipment and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and analyze at-sea test events for AUVs, ASV, and subsea systems
• Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain field hardware in the water
• Lead day-to-day sea test operations and data analysis
• Coordinate test execution with vendors and logistics
• Prepare daily test reports and technical documentation
