What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage and maintain a variety of subrogation cases, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Conduct thorough reviews of case documents and confirm eligibility for beneficiaries
  • Interact professionally with attorneys, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery
  • Prepare necessary correspondence and negotiate claim/lien settlements per contract guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and government security requirements in all processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the subrogation or insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in a legal office as a paralegal or legal assistant
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and/or Medicare regulations
  • Ability to interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and related documents
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Understanding of the subrogation industry and its practices
