AXIS Capital is seeking a Subrogation Claims Specialist to join our North America Claims team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of moderate to high-complexity subrogation claims, identify recovery opportunities, investigate liability, and pursue recovery from responsible parties and insurers.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with subrogation, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years of equivalent claims handling/underwriting experience.
• Valid state licenses as required and add states to certifications as needed.
• Experience handling commercial Property claims for insurers preferred.

Aufgaben

• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities and evaluate claim files for subrogation potential.
• Research liabilities, identify subrogation claims, and secure recovery from responsible parties and insurers.
• Coordinate evidence gathering and necessary information for pursuing subrogation.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate recovery on behalf of AXIS.
• Interact with policyholders, claimants and witnesses to gather information.
• Collaborate with TPA/MGA partners and guide junior staff as needed.
