Subrogation Administrative Assistant
Location: St. Petersburg or US WFH (ET time-zone preferred)

About you and the role:

Provide general clerical assistance to Subrogation and Recovery Department within Cranmore. Assist with other collection related administrative matters. Provide Cranmore with general clerical and office management on an as needed basis.

What you will be doing:

  • General clerical duties including but not limited to handling of incoming and outgoing mail, e-mail, deliveries and return receipts, and printing and/or scanning documents.
  • Track and manage recovery receipt for subrogation and recovery department.
  • Prepare documents, correspondence and databases using MS Office.
  • Arrange for meetings, seminars, travel, and prepare and process expense reports adhering to corporate guidelines.
  • Communicate with adverse parties and carriers to assist in subrogation recoveries.
  • Assist with preparation of training materials and presentations as requested.
  • Records management of physical, electronic, and archived records.
  • Maintain calendar and follow-up for assigned tasks and projects.
  • Assemble and redact information from material packets, exhibits, and documents.
  • Order records, billings, and other documents.
  • Coordinate with various internal and external contacts to obtain information and documents, including, but not limited to Claims Examiners, Subrogation Counsel, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist with other collection related administrative matters.
  • Provide back up to other administrative team members on an as needed basis.
  • In addition to the above key responsibilities, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require.

What you will bring:

  • 2-3 years of office experience, preferable in a claim or subrogation setting; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic knowledge of subrogation or claims handling, and general claims handling practices.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft applications, including MS Access, and web-based databases, create and execute database queries)
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and review information skilfully.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing requests and work with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

General Info

The target base salary pay range for this role is $52,000- $55,000.

*Target full-time equivalent base salary range is based on relevant market data. The actual salary offered will depend on applicable market data for hiring location and relevant candidate knowledge, skills/experience. This salary range is not inclusive of applicable discretionary incentives.
