Job summary

Fluker Farms in Port Allen, LA, is seeking a dependable, in-person production team member to join our insect farming operation. The role requires the ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow safety policies in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be able to lift 35 pounds, work in hot, humid conditions, and communicate clearly; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to work with insects (crickets, mealworms, roaches, etc.)
• Able to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Able to pay close attention to detail and make precise measurements
• Ensures all personal safety equipment is in good condition and maintains proper usage
• Observes and adheres to all safety and security procedures
• Maintains both clean and safe work environments, and ensures all work areas are clean each day
• Able to responsibly mix chemicals for sanitation with the appropriate ratios
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have a positive attitude
• Able to work well in both a team-based environment as well as with limited supervision
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively Be able to work well under pressure and with time constraints
• Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Be able to work in hot and humid conditions
• Possesses strong multitasking and decision‑making skills
