Job summary

Noblis MSD seeks a Submarine Systems Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee submarine systems, materials, and processes for NAVSEA/NSWCPD programs. You will handle OR/Evidence reviews, nonconformances, and SUBSAFE controls across vendor facilities, shipboard and shop activities in a challenging, mission-critical environment.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with a SECRET clearance, GD&T training, and 10% travel while supporting hybrid onsite work in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• Formal training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to interpret drawings, apply geometric tolerances, evaluate inspection criteria.

Responsibilities

• Establish and conduct vendor oversight and surveillance of in-process manufacturing, assembly, repair, and testing activities.
• Review final Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) to verify contract compliance and provide acceptance recommendations.
• Perform material identification and inventory verification inspections of equipment and components.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of vendor processes for compliance with technical specs and quality standards.
• Provide technical evaluation and investigation of submarine HM&E system discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Review non-conformances, investigate root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee SUBSAFE work on shipboard and in shops, ensuring procedures and certification requirements.
