Job summary

Serco Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a high- level Logistics/ILS specialist to support the Navy's submarine programs. You will help plan maintenance, manage configuration, and coordinate supply and training for life‑cycle support of Columbia-class-related activities.

The role requires DoW Secret clearance eligibility, extensive submarine experience, and strong communication skills to engage a diverse team across offices. Travel ~25% and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma with minimum of 14 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of submarine maintenance, logistics, supply and fleet support processes.
• Working knowledge of NAVY ILS, maintenance, planning, configuration management, technical documentation, and supply support.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with little supervision or direction.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational insight and assists in the development and prioritization of requirements, strategy development, capability assessments, analysis of alternatives, documentation development and analysis.
• Makes recommendations and implements opportunities to mitigate risk.
• Support submarine ILS activities including maintenance planning, supply support, configuration management, technical data, training and support equipment.
• Track logistics products, program actions, risks, and dependencies required to support Dreadnought transition to in-service and through-life support.
• Provide a fleet-focused perspective during meetings and technical reviews to ensure maintainability and long-term support requirements are addressed.
