Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) seeks a System Engineer for the Fall River, MA location to advance undersea warfare capabilities. The role focuses on development, integration, and testing of combat and navigation systems for U.S. Naval platforms, with emphasis on mission-critical hardware and software deployment.

This on-site/hybrid position requires a Secret clearance, 3 days in the office, and extensive collaboration with fleet teams and Submarine Learning Centers nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience.
• Must have hands on experience aboard US Navy Submarine.
• Deep operational familiarity with undersea warfare environments.
• Proven track record testing, procedure development, hands-on system installations.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing team for AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System and EW AN/BLQ-10.
• Assist installation team to execute system installs at Submarine Learning Centers across US.
• Work with fleet to capture product requirements and determine installation parameters.
• Analyze and troubleshoot SWFTS architecture; provide remote/on-site support for training events.
• Prepare and review Installation Design Plans, Diagrams, Test procedures, and user manuals.
