Job summary

Lever, Inc. seeks a SME- Controls (BAMS) QA professional to guide BAS controls quality and establish portfolio training guidelines. The role supports Dalton, GA and Marble, NC sites, performing BAS PM activities and assisting local site teams with break/fix support.

The candidate will ensure internal procedures meet BMS/EPMS standards, coordinate with suppliers and system integrators, and drive continuous improvement in energy efficiency practices through data-driven analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience, required.
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in mission critical environments with a heavy emphasis on building controls and monitoring, required.
  • Technical school with an emphasis on building controls and monitoring, mission-critical operations, high-performance manufacturing, or relevant military operations, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications as they relate to BAS controls.
  • Assessing internal customer BMS/EPMS requirements and ensuring that these are met.
  • Assist the CFM with establishing and enforcing internal customer BMS/EPMS service standards.
  • Monitoring quality requirements of BMS/EPMS related services with suppliers, vendors and system integrators.
  • Follow standards for safe work practices in relation to BMS/EPMS practices.
  • Ensuring that BMS/EPMS new construction and upgrade installation practices comply with standards at both national and international level.
  • Working with facilities operations teams to establish proper BMS/EPMS issue tracking and resolution thru warranty and the post-warranty period.
  • Maintain technical reports based on issue tracking and resolution.
  • Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality standards through continuous improvement in latest technology opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot and document controls and monitoring system objectives to maximize energy efficiencies.
  • Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information related to BMS/EPMS as needed.
  • Monitoring performance of system integrators thru final phase of any data center construction activities as it relates to BMS/EPMS commissioning.
  • Attends continuing education seminars as needed to stay abreast of latest industry standards, trends and practices in the BAS industry

Job description

The SME- Controls (BAMS) is a quality assurance role focused on providing guidance through a single point of in-house contact for matters related to building automation systems (BAS). The successful candidate will establish portfolio training guidelines, perform BAS PM activities, and assist local site team (when needed) with break/fix support

This role will oversee both Dalton, GA and Marble, NC sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience, required

    monitoring, required
  • Technical school with an emphasis on building controls and monitoring, mission-critical operations, high- performance manufacturing, or relevant military operations, preferred
