Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required for security-clearance eligibility.
  • Expert credentials or recognized authority in a relevant field.
  • Mature judgment; advise senior Government personnel on technical matters.
  • Ability to independently address R&D engineering problems and coordinate work.
  • Advanced knowledge of chemistry, hardware systems, or photonics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help program managers judge whether emerging materials and devices can deliver system-level performance.
  • Support DARPA MXO research across concept development through transition and closeout.
  • Coordinate with performers, Government partners, and other experts to keep efforts moving.
  • Develop technical and programmatic products for DARPA leadership and external stakeholders.
