Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Specialist, Subcontracts to plan and execute procurement activities for materials and services. You will negotiate with suppliers, analyze bids, and issue awards while ensuring compliance with FAR and internal policies.

Essential functions include managing supplier relationships, performing cost/price analysis, and maintaining accurate records. A bachelor's degree with 4+ years of procurement experience is required, with growth opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required with 4+ years procurement experience; graduate degree or equivalent with 2 years; in lieu of a degree, 8 years procurement experience.

Responsibilities

Procure raw materials, goods and services and manage subcontracts for suppliers.
Lead supplier selection, cost/price analysis, negotiations and contract formation.
Ensure delivery schedules and compliance with terms, ethics, and regulations.
Maintain documentation in accordance with FAR and company policies.
Participate in improvement initiatives across departments.
