Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts, consulting agreements, and purchase orders supporting DoD prime contracts and task orders.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will handle subcontract planning, negotiations, compliance, administration, and closeout while ensuring FAR/DFARS adherence. This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management with internal teams, subcontractors, and government customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in subcontract management, contracts administration, or federal procurement.
• Experience managing full subcontract lifecycle from solicitation to closeout.
• Strong FAR/DFARS knowledge and flow-down requirements.
• Experience supporting DoD prime contracts and task orders.
• Ability to negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and contract administration skills.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with CPSR readiness, DCAA audits, and government compliance.
• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, GovWin, or similar Gov contracts systems.
• Experience supporting proposal development and teaming agreements.

Our client is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts, consulting agreements, and purchase orders supporting Department of Defense (DoD) prime contracts and task orders. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this individual will be responsible for subcontract planning, negotiations, compliance, administration, and closeout activities while ensuring adherence to FAR and DFARS requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a small business environment and can effectively balance compliance, negotiation, and day-to-day subcontract management responsibilities. This role also requires strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and government customers.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in subcontract management, contracts administration, or procurement supporting federal government contracts.
• Experience managing the full subcontract lifecycle from solicitation through closeout.
• Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and subcontract flow-down requirements.
• Experience supporting DoD prime contracts and task orders.
