Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Subcontracts Administrator to join our growing Supply Chain team in Orlando/FL. You will execute and manage high-dollar procurements with critical subcontractors in accordance with SOWs.

Experience with FAR/DFARS and contract negotiations is required. Responsibilities include drafting SOWs, issuing RFI/RFQ packages, and leading supplier negotiations. You will support multiple sites, including international coordination, and help drive cost, schedule, and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering with 5+ years experience, or MBA/MS/JD with 3+ years.
• Experience with USG, DoD, or FAA contracts and contracting methods.
• Experience creating and managing SOWs through ETR release.
• Advanced purchasing with PO management in ERP.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving with sound judgment.
• Financial acumen and cost reasonableness assessment.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Create and manage SOWs and drive them through ETR release.
• Issue RFI/RFQ packages and ensure complete information.
• Conduct flow-down analyses for FAR/DFARS/FAA and international standards.
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Execute Subcontracts, NDAs, Leasing and Long-Term Agreements.
• Maintain comprehensive contract records per government requirements.
• Support proposal costing for subcontract material and labor.
• Coordinate across multiple sites, including international teams.
• Manage supplier performance via quarterly business reviews.
• Assist with metrics, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 5-10% annually.
