Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Supply Chain team in Bristol, RI. Responsibilities include managing high-dollar procurements, drafting and reviewing SOWs, and ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, FAA, and international standards. Travel up to 10% may be required.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical, and financial acumen, with experience in government contracting and ERP-based purchasing. A BA/BS and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent, are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or MBA/MS/JD with 3+ years.
• Experience with USG, DoD, or FAA contracts and contract methods.
• Experience creating and managing SOWs through ETR release.
• Advanced purchasing with procurement fundamentals and ERP purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements for regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
• Create and manage SOWs and drive through ETR release.
• Issue RFI/RFQ packages and ensure complete information.
• Conduct flow-down analyses for customer requirements (FAR, DFARS, FAA, international).
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Execute Subcontracts, NDAs, Leasing, and Long-Term Agreements.
