Redwire Space Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator, Staff, to join our team. The role supports multiple contract types for Federal and commercial programs, with remote work predominating.

Onsite participation is required for milestone reviews, integration/test events, and select customer meetings, with occasional travel. The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in business or related field and 7+ years in aerospace or manufacturing, plus strong communication, costpoint, and ERP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or a related field, and 7+ years' work experience in aerospace or manufacturing; or 10 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government and/or commercial programs and managing diverse subcontractors.
  • Experience awarding/managing diverse Subcontract Types.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS; ITAR/EAR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build, review, and approve compliant file documentation.
  • Interface between program management and subcontractors; may travel to supplier locations.
  • Administer government contracts/subcontracts; ensure FAR/DFARS compliance; ITAR/EAR a plus.
  • Prepare proposals and related documents; review package accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate subcontractor proposals with internal team; negotiate terms and pricing.
  • Prepare subcontract documents and amendments; cascade prime contract requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, deliverables, and invoices.
  • Provide contract interpretation and guidance; perform price analysis per regulations.
  • Closeout subcontract actions and transfer files; other duties as required.
  • Limited travel may be required (<10%).

Redwire's Goleta facility is Made for the Mission, delivering advanced power generation technologies that enable spacecraft to operate reliably across every orbit and mission profile. Summary

Redwire Space Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator, Staff to join our team! The individual must be able to work in a fast paced, challenging environment with multiple contract types supporting both Federal and commercial programs. While the position is primarily remote, the ideal candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance to our facility in Goleta, CA. You'll be expected to work onsite for key activities such as milestone reviews, integration and test events, and occasional customer meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Build, Review, and approve compliant file documentation
  • Represent company as the official interface between program management and subcontractors; may require travel to supplier locations
  • Strong working knowledge and experience administering government contracts/subcontracts. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS); Export Control Requirements (ITAR/EAR) experience a plus
  • Prepare proposal and other business documents for execution. Examples include Request for Proposal, price analysis, and written narrative documents related to subcontractor's requirements and/or performance
  • Review and verify accuracy and completeness of proposal packages
  • Coordinate subcontractor proposals with internal team
  • Review subcontractor proposals and fact-find and negotiate with suppliers on price, schedule, terms and conditions and any other contractual requirements
  • Prepare subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of cascaded requirements from the prime contract ensuring terms and conditions will be appropriate
  • Prepare reports and contractual correspondence for project management
  • Monitoring subcontractor's performance, managing deliverables and payment of invoices
  • Coordinating and providing advice and interpretation of contract/subcontract requirements
  • In concert with the Program/Technical team perform price analysis to ensure reasonableness of pricing in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Perform subcontract closeout actions, complete file documentation, and transfer files accordingly
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate and/or required
  • Limited travel may be required less than 10%
Ideal Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or a related field, and 7+ years' work experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry; or 10 years related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience supporting a wide range of U.S. Government and/or commercial programs
  • Experience managing diverse subcontractors, both large and small businesses
  • Experience awarding/managing diverse Subcontract Types
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Excellent Organization and follow through skills, driven to excellence
  • Experienced working in ERP systems and data entry and analysis. Costpoint experience is highly desired
  • Willingness and desire for continuous improvement
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects of competing authority and varying scope
  • Ability to find win-win solutions; a \"make it happen\" attitude
  • Understanding/knowledge of audits and SOX requirements a plus
Desired Skills
  • Experience working in ERP systems; Costpoint strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting CPSR compliant environments
  • Understanding of audits, SOX compliance, and internal controls
  • Aerospace or spacesystems industry experience, particularly with flight hardware suppliers
  • Supplier risk management experience
  • Process improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
  • Professional supply chain or contracts certifications (CPSM, CFCM, NCMA credentials)
Pay Range

$120,000 - $170,000/yr.

Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
