Job summary

AeroVironment's Subcontracts Administrator II supports the senior subcontracts team in managing procurement and subcontracting activities for government and commercial programs. This role coordinates with internal teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.

The position provides cradle-to-grave admin support for RFPs and subcontract agreements, tracks deliverables, maintains files, assists in negotiations, and prepares reports to support team objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of procurement and government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as required by senior subcontracts administrators and management.

Summary

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 10 lbs.), bend, etc. Hand and wrist dexterity to utilize the computer.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • May require 10 % travel to Subcontractor sites and special company functions.
Special Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental U.S. and internationally when required.

Salary

The salary range for this role is:

$70,500 - $107,750
