We're looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Subcontracts Administrator to join our team. This is a 6 month contract to hire, fully remote position responsible for the full lifecycle administration of subcontracts for various programs within the CONUS region, potentially including both foreign and domestic subcontractors.

In this critical role, you'll ensure all subcontracts and purchase orders (POs) comply with corporate policies, legal guidelines, FAR/DFARS clauses, and customer requirements. You'll work on complex subcontract matters, provide contractual guidance to Program Management, and exercise sound ethical judgment to protect our legal and financial interests.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer Subcontracts: Manage the entire subcontract lifecycle from qualification of suppliers, issuing RFPs, proposal evaluation, cost/price analysis, to close-out.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliant subcontract files and ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and other applicable regulations.
  • Negotiate & Document: Lead negotiation efforts with subcontractors, draft requests for proposals, and interpret various clauses, amendments, and legal documents.
  • Monitor Performance: Track subcontractor performance against contract terms, cost, schedule, and mission requirements, documenting performance using our Subcontract Past Performance Rating System (SPPRS).
  • Financial Oversight: Award subcontract values, authorize funding, and review/validate subcontractor invoices for payment.
  • Provide Guidance: Offer expert contractual guidance to internal and external customers, solving complex and unique subcontracting problems.
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to acquisition strategies and support Business Development/Capture Teams.
  • Collaborate: Coordinate closely with other functional departments and support internal/external audits.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of specialized experience in administering contracts/subcontracts, purchasing, or contract administration using a variety of contract types (CONUS/OCONUS).
  • Prefer a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with DoD contracts or subcontracts.
  • Security Clearance: Must have a security clearance.
  • Expert Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement, and other departmental supplements is essential.
  • Skills: Proven ability to influence internal stakeholders, work collaboratively, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Certification: Ability to complete our Procurement and Government Contracts Certification within six months of hire.

Technical Tools You'll Use:

You'll regularly use Microsoft Office applications, along with specialized systems such as CLM, Infinium, On-Base, Maximo, STARS (potentially), and SharePoint.

If you're a self-motivated Subcontracts Administrator with a strong background in government contracting and a keen eye for compliance, we encourage you to apply!
