Job summary

Uftring Auto Group in Peoria, IL is expanding its Subaru service team. The Subaru Technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs Subaru vehicles, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems, while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Pay is based on experience, with ranges between $25 and $30 an hour. We offer bonuses and incentives, vacation and PTO, medical/dental/vision and 401(k), advancement opportunities, and company stability built over 40 years.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent required.
• Experience as a technician with a major automotive manufacturer.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Must be organized and able to work unsupervised.
• Provide own tools and toolbox.
• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Determine work requested on repair orders.
• Diagnoses and perform repairs including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Road test vehicles to quality check.
• Attend shop meetings and keep abreast of manufacturer training.
