Job summary

The Uftring Auto Group is seeking a Subaru Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair Subaru vehicles in Peoria, IL, following manufacturer specs and safety standards.

Compensation starts at $25–$30 per hour, based on experience, with a FAST hiring process and opportunities for advancement within a stable, long-standing organization.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent required.
• Technician experience with a major automotive manufacturer required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must be organized and able to work unsupervised with good judgment.
• Provide own tools and toolbox.
• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Determine work requested on repair orders.
• Diagnoses and perform repairs including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Road test vehicles to quality check.
• Attend shop meetings and keep abreast of manufacturer training.

The Subaru Technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs Subaru vehicles, performing tasks like engine repairs, transmission work, and electrical system troubleshooting, while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND RANGES BETWEEN $25 TO $30 AN HOUR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine work requested on repair orders.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday from 8:0 am until 4:30 pm
• One Saturday per month from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm
