Job summary

Hunter Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles within a family-owned, professional service team in Western North Carolina.

Subaru technician experience is a plus; ASE certifications and factory training are valued. You will work closely with Service Advisors and technicians to deliver quality service and safe repairs in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of main shop automotive technician experience.
• Subaru technician experience is a plus.
• Experience working with multiple vehicle makes and models is preferred.
• Own professional set of tools.
• ASE certifications and manufacturer factory training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and complex mechanical repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.
• Perform inspections and recommend necessary repairs based on vehicle condition.
