Job description

Kendall Auto Group, one of the largest family-owned and operated dealerships in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in Marysville, is seeking Subaru Main Line Technicians / Mechanics to join our team. We are transitioning into a new, state-of-the-art, 76,000 square foot Subaru dealership. Kendall Marysville Subaru leads in sales volume within the Seattle District, aiming to sell over 200 new Subarus monthly, with over 55 service stalls and a fast-paced service department serving a large clientele.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least one year of mechanical or technical experience at a dealership or large independent shop. ASE certifications are preferred. Candidates must be capable of operating a variety of vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Job duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and determining necessary work on various vehicles. Performing adjustments, calibrations, fluid replenishments, disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components, and parts repair or replacement. Using judgment to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing vehicles to ensure quality and resolution of issues.

Work is performed indoors in a shop environment. Tool usage involves mechanic's hand and power tools that produce vibration and force. Standing and walking are required throughout the shift. Frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling are necessary to access vehicle parts. Occasionally, lifting, pushing, and pulling weights from 20 to 100 pounds are required.
