Job summary

Headlands Research Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as a Sub-Investigator at our Scottsdale, AZ site. You will conduct CNS, psych, musculoskeletal, addiction, vaccines, and general medicine trials, leveraging technology to support Sponsor/CRO partners and prioritize subject safety.

Headlands Research Scottsdale is a premier clinical research site in the Phoenix region, offering a full-time onsite role with a 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a licensed PA or NP treating adult/geriatric patients across internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Active, unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in Arizona.
• Prior experience in clinical research is highly preferred.
• Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication, punctual and responsible.
• Extremely well organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and welfare of each study subject.
• Have in-depth knowledge of all research protocols.
• Screen potential study subjects according to inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Conduct medical history interviews and physical examinations during study participation.
• Review EKGs and lab results.
• Provide medical care as needed during a subject's participation in a clinical trial.
• Provide home-based on-call availability per site policy.
• Attend Investigator Meetings on behalf of the Principal Investigator as needed.
• Demonstrate professional communication, punctuality and responsibility.
• Display friendly and outgoing demeanor and passion for direct patient interaction.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.

We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as a Sub-Investigator to help us grow our clinical research site located in Scottsdale, AZ. You will help the site conduct clinical research trials involving CNS, psych, musculoskeletal, addiction, vaccines, and general medicine. Type: Full-time Regular Employee

Pay: Competitive and dependent upon years of experience as an Investigator in clinical research and years of experience as an advanced provider.

Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ (no opportunities for remote or hybrid)

Schedule:Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed physician assistant, family or non-acute adult nurse practitioner treating a wide variety of therapeutic areas for the adult and geriatric patient population required (internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine)
• Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Arizona required
• Prior experience within the clinical research industry highly preferred
• Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Excellent communication, punctual and responsible
• Extremely well organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
• Mature and pleasant demeanor
• Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
