Job summary

Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America’s leading designer and builder of outdoor spaces, seeks carpentry professionals for residential building and remodeling projects. Immediate start with a completion bonus of $800 after the first job.

You will coordinate crews, read and verify plans, check materials, and maintain safety and quality on site while delivering results that meet contract specifications and customer expectations. Strong communication and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Clean and neat appearance.

• Willing to learn and follow documented processes.
• Ability to work specified details and quality assurance checklist independently.
• Background in carpentry techniques, framing, and trim for exterior and interior workfrom foundation to roof.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and check take-offs.
• Ability to lay out footings or foundations.
• Ability to determine elevations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employees to follow construction drawings and ensure compliance with details.
• Check drawings against sales designs for adequacy and accuracy.
• Check materials against take-offs and inform GM of shortages for timely delivery.
• Establish and follow a schedule with the General Manager.
• Maintain an orderly job site and ensure safety practices.
• Maintain positive relations with customers.
• Refer problems to the General Manager for resolution.
• Contact General Manager to resolve immediately.
• Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed.

We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America’s leading designer and builder of outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures.

We seek construction professionals with established carpentry expertise to work on our residential building & remodeling projects. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck franchise. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic and the ability to follow our documented processes. General Liability Insurance a must and Workmen's Comp. Insurance a plus. A CSL is a plus, but not necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate your employees to ensure they understand and work to construction drawings in compliance with the specified details
• Check construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of information
• Check materials delivered against take‑off and inform the General Manager of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflow
• Establish and follow a schedule with the General Manager
• Maintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilized
• Maintain positive relations with customers
• Refer all problems to the General Manager for resolution
• Contact General Manager if necessary to resolve immediately
• Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed
