Job summary

Nye County School District in Pahrump, NV is seeking a Substitute Support Staff – Sub Bus Aide / Monitor. This role requires providing safe and efficient transportation for District students and assisting bus drivers with special needs students.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, and a valid Nevada Driver License. The position is on an as-needed basis to cover for regular staff during their absences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required.
• Valid Nevada Driver License required.
• Ability to pass State and Federal criminal background check.
• Compliance with NCSD Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient transportation experience for District students.
• Assist bus driver with special needs students on special education buses.
• Monitor and maintain proper student behavior on general education buses.
