Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a driven Label Prep Operator to join our Switchgear team, supporting the Integrated Solution product line. You will assemble products, use basic torquing, and follow SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of assembly experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and is comfortable standing for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs. Associate degree in related field preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in an assembly environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions safely and effectively.
• This role may require standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of assembly of a designed product.
• Build an assembly with basic torquing applications.
• Use basic hand tools safely.
• Follow verbal and written instructions in a documented Standard Operating Procedure.
• Assist with the fast pace and volume targets needed to be successful.
• Take an active role in business development and expansion.
• Complete on-the-job and classroom trainings related to assembling product safely and effectively.
