MPI Systems in New York is seeking a Sub Assembly Tech to complete sub-assembly orders by performing mechanical and electrical tasks guided by drawings, schematics, and shop manuals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical circuits.
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Proficient with standard shop tools (hand and electric)
• Moderate troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electrical components
• Moderate computer skills with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• MPI is a LEAN company; keep work area clean and organized

Responsabilités

• Attend daily lean meetings and support continuous improvement across MPI.
• Follow quality control assembly checklists to assemble sub-assemblies and machines.
• Place components correctly with sealant and torque as required.
• Operate forklift for material placement after MPI training.
• Operate hoist and lift tables after MPI training.
• Follow all safety procedures and MPI safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
