Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Label Prep Operator on the Switchgear team to contribute to the Integrated Solution product line. You will work in a fast-paced assembly environment, applying basic torquing and hand tools to build high-quality products.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of assembly environment experience.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products as designed according to SOP.
  • Perform basic torquing and use basic hand tools safely.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions in documented SOP.
  • Support fast pace and volume targets.
  • Assist with on-the-job and classroom trainings related to assembling product safely.
  • Take an active role in business development and expansion.
  • Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when required.

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY

Vertiv is currently looking to bring a driven Label Prep Operator onto our Switchgear team to assist in the development of our Integrated Solution product line. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented leader and technically proficient. We are building a motivated team of technicians who will produce a quality product for some of the most prestigious clients in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all aspects of assembly of a designed product.
  • Build an assembly with basic torquing applications
  • Use basic hand tools safely
  • Follow verbal and written instructions in a documented Standard Operating Procedure
  • Assist with the fast pace and volume targets needed to be successful.
  • Take an active role in business development and expansion.
  • Complete on-the-job and classroom trainings related to assembling product safely and effectively.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Currently pursuing or completed Associates Degree in an applicable field (Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, etc.) preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience successfully working in an assembly environment,
  • Ability to safely and effectively follow written and verbal instructions.

This position may require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a production environment where protective equipment is required.

  • Exposure to metal materials, sharp edges, and noise from production machinery.
