Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Father Baker Manor Sub Acute in New York. The role supports total patient care on the Sub-Acute/Skilled Nursing Unit with day shifts (6 AM–2 PM) and weekend/holiday rotation.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the Nursing Process, while teaching patients and families and guiding non-licensed staff under supervision. NYS RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN).
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current New York State Professional Nurse License.
• Required to obtain BLS within first 3 months of employment.
• Meets all NYS licensure requirements including Infection Control and elder abuse reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total patient care through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and supports activities of clinical personnel on the Sub-Acute or Skilled Nursing Unit.
• Actively participates in direct patient care using the Nursing Process for diverse medical/surgical conditions.
• Collaborates with other health professionals to coordinate care and provides direction to non-licensed personnel.
